![]() ![]() I doubt it has everything at max settings, but I have no idea. I don't know what the console equivalent settings are to what you can set in PC, either. I am on a 5900x + 32GB RAM, though.Īlso, like mentioned, you gotta use DLSS or FSR if your GPU isn't handling your settings at your resolution. Personally, I notice zero changes in how smooth Steam works. I turned hardware acceleration off in Steam for the meantime. That's important in a game that needs that. If you have it set to use hardware acceleration, you lost 600+MB VRAM. SOME of that VRAM is already allocated by Windows and your gaming apps. This game uses all of the VRAM it can allocate from my 12GB VRAM (6700XT). what they had to throw out until then.Īnd like mentioned, there's way too many people in here playing a demo complaining about the game. Nvidia 4000 series and AMD 7000 series are just. The next gen GPUs are gonna blow away everything we have seen. This is just how it's gonna be for 2023 and beyond games. Turns out, Hogwarts (once you get out of the tutorial), gets even lesser performance. VRS may or may not work though in my testing it does appear to work but by a hilariously pointless 1 FPS change (pretty sure not margin of error based on testing).Įveryone was hating on this and talking about how Hogwarts was gonna eat it up. If need be lower it to 1440p, too, and it still looks great with some of the higher quality oriented DLSS options. Use DLSS in the game if you have an Nvidia GPU because FSR, despite being a very heavily AMD partnership title, does not fully function correctly. You could honestly turn reflections, fog, and cloud's to standard too. Obviously, considering the involve performance impact this is a failure on Luminous Production's end. In fact, comparing High RT AO + Shadow to Standard no RT AO + Shadow you might not even realize they're different unless comparing directly with screenshots or careful comparisons in-game swapping settings. ![]() They're very performance demanding but due to the poor implementation they don't look visibly much better. If you do end up getting it again, or whatever, some suggestions are to simply turn off the ray tracing AO and Shadows entirely and set to standard. ![]() don't have the game unless you've refunded it? No idea if the demo does worse than the base game or not. It could also be a RAM issue though as I can't comment on impact of lesser RAM at higher settings due to having above average RAM performance and 64GB, though the max RAM commit I've seen was around 17GB. People that are complaining are basically turning settings higher than their rig should be set to, refusing to use DLSS, listen to configuration advice, or have a poorly paired CPU in a CPU demanding game. 24 GB RAM+ My RTX 3070 8 GB (not TI version) is fine in this game. People with 3090ti or 4090 and ton of RAM. Only people with the best GPUs can run this game well or so they say. Originally posted by Vegasskill:Sorry, but nothing can be done atm. ![]()
